Weed Warrior Day at Oak Haven Park

Please join Habitat Acquisition Trust and the District of Central Saanich in helping to preserve the beautiful and unique Garry Oak Woodland and surrounding Douglas-fir forest at Oak Haven Park and learn more about native and invasive plants. We will be focusing on removing Scotch broom and laurel-leaved daphne from the sensitive areas of the park. Please wear protective clothing, water, sun screen, gardening gloves, loppers or cutters. HAT will provide a picnic style lunch, extra gloves and tools.
